Project Description
REngine makes it easier for game developers to develop games in Microsoft Silverlight.

The engine supports these features:
  • tiled map rendering
  • movement and animation of objects
  • input handling
  • event system
  • weather and shader effects
  • pathfinding
  • sound effects and background music playback

The engine uses tiled maps to improve performance.

Each tile consists of 2 layers which are Alpha blended together to create more varied tile graphics.

Built-in and custom shader effects can be applied to game objects and to map tiles too.
